Hell's Gate National Park with Cycling
Hell's Gate National Park offers a unique safari experience: exploring by bicycle. This park, inspiration for the movie "The Lion King," features dramatic scenery with towering cliffs, gorges, and geothermal activity. Cycling through the park allows you to get up close to wildlife like zebras, gazelles, and baboons. The challenging terrain adds an adventurous element, and the park's otherworldly landscapes, including the iconic Fischer's Tower, make for unforgettable memories. Rent a bike at the park entrance and embark on a self-guided tour, or opt for a guided experience for deeper insights into the area's geology and wildlife.
Points to Note
- This is a full day tour with pick up at 7:00am so that we are the park by 9:30am
- The tour allows ample time in the park
- There are numerous activities from cycling to walking in the gorge as well as rock climbing and finally swimming at the Geothermal Spa
- Enjoy lunch at the geothermal spa (approx. $10 or at a restaurant outside the park)
- You will have a qualified Driver-Guide for your tour
- Bottled Water will be provided
- You are encouraged to purchase some snacks/ biting's for yourself
- Remember to bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.
- Pick Up and Drop off is included - Remember to send over your address to help coordinate this
- Park Entry Fees has to be pre-paid either by us (if indicated) or by yourself (a guide will be provided)
